FOURTH PILLAR OF DEMOCRACY

The media is called the fourth pillar of democracy in the country but who will decide if this pillar of our country is strong or weak?

A few decade befor, after watching the news, our people would decide which direction the country was heading But now the TV Anchors in the country decide in which condition the country is to be shown.

Our Vice President said that Journalism has to mirror the society. It is a unique vocation. It is a vocation to serve the society. It is the watchdog of democracy.

Unfortunately, the journalists of our country are trying to give a false sense of pride to the people of the country by giving the news of the ruin of the ruined neighboring country to the public. Media should serve news of developing country also from which we can adopt something better systems and can inspire to do so.

In fact, our media not tired of praising the Prime Minister instead of focusing on which areas of the country should be given more attention for improvement. The Prime Minister is good, that is why the people elected him and thats why he is our Prime Minister. His job is to make the country better.

Instead of serving news like Where does the country stand in the hunger index, how to fight unemployment, the status of women and children in society, the current condition of schools and hospitals, etc., they serve false statistics to make people fool.

TV news anchors are seems more  ring master during the debate Programes, then a journalist. They should conduct debate to know the views of participants, not to impose their ideology. They act and behave like dictator. 

If the people are awake then the country will be awake.

When pople of the country decide what kind of the news to be watch, will be the beginning of a new phase in the development of the country, because ultimately its fourth part of the pillar of the democracy.
