Students passing with higher marks is not a assure proof of good practical knowledge in his professional life. Similarly more income in professional life is not a proof of success. But unfortunately its a big misconception in our society.
Education is an important tool that enables a person to know his rights and duties towards his family, society as well as his country.
A well-educated person has good critical thinking ability, which definitely reflects in the development of individual, society and country.
Many times scolars do the job in that companies which company's promotor may be very poor in his/her academic life. In such case, its not that the scholars are unsuccessful and the
owner/promotor of the company is successful. But according to me, if you are happy and satisfied doing anything at any position, then you are successful.
I have seen many goldmedalist doctors, enginerrs, lawyers etc. Whose professional practice is very average compare to non goldmedalist professionals.
In such a case, if gold medal winning professionals are happy and satisfied with professional practice and enjoy good life, it means that they are successful. But at the same time those who are doing very good professional practice and earning billions, yet if they are unhappy and dissatisfied it means they are not successful. This matter also applies to businessmen in terms of income.
Last week, I meet a very happy and satisfied fruit hawker, Who said me that he did not think that his appetite could be less than that of the richest man in the world.
He further said that the hours he need to sleep and the need for oxygen are also the same for both. I was deeply impressed by his words. Even the world's most famous motivational speaker could not say such things.
Every mature and sensitive person knows his responsibility towards his family, society and country but if he is happy it does not mean that he is not aware and serious about his duties.
To be happy, take responsibility with a smiling face, praise the good quality of others, avoid criticizing and specially of weak persons, be around positive and energetic people.
Special thanks to Fruit hawker who inspired me to write a blog on this topic.
