Imposing one's ideas on the people gives rise to despotism, such political systems are called dictatorships.
Wherever there is a dictator, the exchange of ideas is only one-sided. And because of created and imposed onesided law, sooner or later, feeling of discontent among the people, which sparkd in form of feeling that could be ignite and convert in a big flame.
And this flame, the voice of the people, crates an entire movement and its transformation changes into a great revolution.
In political science, a revolution is a fundamental and relatively sudden change in political power and political organization which occurs when the population revolts against the government, typically due to perceived oppression (political, social, economic) or political incompetence.
Here I am talking about the movement of women in Iran to stop wearing hijab that has been going on for the past one month.
In Iran, it is compulsory for women to wear hijab to cover their head including their hair. Iran's morality police detained an Iranian-Kurdish girl named Mahsa Amini for violating this law. After the death of that girl, protests broke out.
As the protests expanded and gained momentum, so did the scope of the demands. Slogans of "death to the dictator" are also heard in the streets, referring to the country's supreme leader and the end of the Islamic Republic.
A major change in any country is rooted in the revolution started by the people.
This is why it is said that the democratic system is the best of all governmental systems.
History is witnessed the fall of the Roman Empire and the destructions of the Nanda Empire by Chanakya. The root cause of all is the same, the discontent of the public.
To be continue.....
