Be an encourager, not a fault finder

The easiest job in the world is to find faults in people and to give advice. But recognizing their positive qualities and encouraging them despite knowing their week side is very difficult indeed.  It is difficult to inculcate such skills in common people.

In fact fault finder is a person who criticizes someone or something often in a way that is not fair or reasonable. If you find fault with people often, do introspection and see if it has not become your habit.

As a part of human nature we subconsciously search for faults in other people to feel better about ourselves, or just because their faults are annoying to us. Fault-finding is constantly active in our daily lives, and it is perfectly normal for all human beings!

However, there is a certain extent where fault-finding becomes an overpowering element of our lives, and so it is really important  for everybody to know who fault-finders are, what kinds exist, the effects of being one, and finally ways to overcome the bad habit.

Exactly opposit, appreciation is one of life's greatest motivators, so when we take the time to let people know that we value them, it inspires them to continue doing even more. That is precisely why gratitude is the ultimate gift that keeps on giving. A person who feels appreciated will always do more than what is expected.

That’s not just a nice sounding quote, it is a fact that has been scientifically proven.
“Individuals often withhold help because they are uncertain about whether beneficiaries will appreciate their assistance.

Expressions of gratitude can signify that a beneficiary values, needs, and accepts one’s assistance. Previous research has shown that grateful feelings enable people to savor positive experiences, cope with stress, and strengthen social relationships.

A disposition toward gratitude is also associated with higher levels of subjective well-being, demonstrating that counting one’s blessings can increase positive emotions and health.”

I strongly encourage you to take action, and make a serious attempt towards becoming a good example of one who focuses less on the bad, and more on the good.
